Bus

OC Transpo Route 8 stops opposite the War museum. Walk N to Middle Street. Turn right and go to the very end. Many STO buses go to the Portage Bridge and Laurier. Get off at Laurier and the Portage Bridge. Head S on the E side of the bridge - you will see the tipis! Just go down the walkway on your left .

Walk/Bike

From Ottawa: Going west on Wellington Street you would pass Parliament Hill and turn right onto Portage Bridge, E side. While crossing to Gatineau (Quebec) on the bridge "Aboriginal Experiences" is on your right hand side - you will see the tipis! Just down the walkway on your right and you will reach our entrance.

From Gatineau: Go to the Portage Bridge and head S on the E side of the bridge - you will see the tipis! Just go down the walkway on your left .

Driving

From downtown Ottawa, take Albert Street west to Booth Street, which is past Bronson Avenue. Turn right on to Booth Street on to the Chaudière Bridge you will see the new Canada War Museum on your left. As you cross the bridge, you will see the sign for "Aboriginal Experiences" on the right hand side on "Middle Street". Turn right onto Middle Street and follow the road to the very end - under the bridge where you will find our village.

Not a problem - there is a big shelter so the party can go on.
